The surgery will be closed on Monday the 28th of May 2018 due to the Spring Bank Holiday. Patients can telephone NHS 111 if they need urgent medical advice or 999 if you have a serious medical emergency. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.

The surgery will be closing slightly earlier than usual on Thursday the 24th of May 2018 due to clinical staff training across the Gateshead area. The surgery will shut at 12.30pm instead of the usual time of 1pm.

We are currently experiencing an issue with the main telephone line into the surgery where patients may not hear an answer phone welcoming message and will instead hear a ringing tone. These calls are not coming through to reception due to a fault. BT are coming to the surgery to fix the problem today. We are happy to be able to announce that Northern Power have replaced the fauly underground cable outside the surgery and all being well we should have electricity restored for opening tomorrow. We would like to apologise to patients for the problems they have had accessing services these last two days. We really appreciate your support and understanding.

Unfortunately we are experiencing a power cut at the surgery due to a problem with an underground cable. Due to this issue we are unable to book appointments or order prescriptions but we hope that the power will be back on later today. Any patients with appointments should still attend the surgery unless they hear from the practice to cancel.
